Question 1

What do front end 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 196 recorded sales of the 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,050 to $4,200. That is 3% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

723 comparable 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $4,700. At $3,100 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This NISSAN ALTIMA has front end and repossession damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 58,904 miles high for a 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,448 miles across 723 sales, so at 58,904 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AR - BESSEMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 440 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
