Question 1

Was $7,275 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

616 comparable 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,450, spanning $3,050 to $4,525. At $7,275 this one went 111% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear-nv mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a clear-nv. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,215 miles across 616 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NV - LAS VEGAS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was TITLEMAX. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
