Question 1

What do hail 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA with hail damage, the median was $3,975, from $3,350 to $4,900. That is 17% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,225 a good price for this 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

355 comparable 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,400, spanning $3,000 to $4,450. At $4,225 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title-ne mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a certificate of title-ne. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

Is 122,738 miles high for a 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 82,110 miles across 355 sales, so at 122,738 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This NISSAN ALTIMA has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
