Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

Is 135,459 miles high for a 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,781 miles across 705 sales, so at 135,459 miles this one sits 66% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Where was this NISSAN ALTIMA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - MONCTON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 4

Did this 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1N4AL3AP5JC218918?

Accepted Answer

1N4AL3AP5JC218918 identifies this specific 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA in white with a 2.5l i-4 dohc, vvt, 179hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 12524185x and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
