Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,000 to $5,100. That is 11% above the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

711 comparable 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $4,750. At $3,000 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-rebuilt salvage (p) mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a cert of title-rebuilt salvage (p). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 126,372 miles high for a 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,729 miles across 711 sales, so at 126,372 miles this one sits 55% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
