Question 1

What do rear end 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 99 recorded sales of the 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA with rear end damage, the median was $3,350, from $3,000 to $4,150. That is 3% below the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This NISSAN ALTIMA has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 142,705 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,215 miles across 616 sales, so at 142,705 miles this one sits 76% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
