Question 1

What do rear end 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 58 recorded sales of the 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA with rear end damage, the median was $3,339, from $3,050 to $4,350. That is 2% below the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in VA - HAMPTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 198,741 miles high for a 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 82,168 miles across 357 sales, so at 198,741 miles this one sits 142% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This NISSAN ALTIMA has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA was listed at COPART as lot 69294995 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
