Question 1

What do rear end 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 182 recorded sales of the 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with rear end damage, the median was $4,300, from $3,350 to $5,700. That is 6% above the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,400 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1986 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,200 to $5,700. At $4,400 this one went 9% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $13,530. It sold for $4,400 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 49,246 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 90,166 miles across 1986 sales, so at 49,246 miles this one sits 45% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
