Question 1

What do side 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 132 recorded sales of the 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with side damage, the median was $8,100, from $4,550 to $12,000. That is 11% above the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,900 a good price for this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1585 comparable 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,150 to $12,400. At $5,900 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $17,450. It sold for $5,900 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NM - ALBUQUERQUE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 750 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 17,637 miles high for a 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 47,071 miles across 1585 sales, so at 17,637 miles this one sits 63% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
