Question 1

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MN - BLAINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 96,471 miles high for a 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,849 miles across 452 sales, so at 96,471 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JA4AR3AW6HZ028353?

Accepted Answer

JA4AR3AW6HZ028353 identifies this specific 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER in black with a 2.4l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
