Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,650, from $3,000 to $4,900. That is 7% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

452 comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $3,400, spanning $3,050 to $4,500. At $6,500 this one went 91% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WV - HURRICANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 31,358 miles high for a 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,849 miles across 452 sales, so at 31,358 miles this one sits 67% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
