Question 1

What does a salvage title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - CHAMBERSBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 112,794 miles high for a 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 104,061 miles across 241 sales, so at 112,794 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was CSAA. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JA4AP3AW1GZ025459?

Accepted Answer

JA4AP3AW1GZ025459 identifies this specific 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER in black with a 2.4l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
