Question 1

What do front end 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 555 recorded sales of the 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with front end damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $5,000. That is 2% below the $3,575 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - PORTAGE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 78,323 miles high for a 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,628 miles across 1222 sales, so at 78,323 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
