Question 1

What do rear 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with rear damage, the median was $4,425, from $3,200 to $6,100. That is 9% above the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,950 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1934 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,200 to $5,700. At $4,950 this one went 22% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage certificate-wv mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a salvage certificate-wv. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WV - SHADY SPRING. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER has rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
