Question 1

What do front end 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1021 recorded sales of the 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with front end damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,150 to $5,250. That is 4% below the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1934 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,200 to $5,700. At $3,450 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 70,470 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 90,034 miles across 1934 sales, so at 70,470 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
