Question 1

What do front end 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 720 recorded sales of the 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with front end damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,075 to $4,900. That is 3% below the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1474 comparable 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $3,700, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $3,050 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - INDIANAPOLIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 56,728 miles high for a 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,950 miles across 1474 sales, so at 56,728 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
