Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,900, from $3,500 to $7,400. That is 21% above the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1984 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,200 to $5,700. At $5,500 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $14,096. It sold for $5,500 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 119,520 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 90,198 miles across 1984 sales, so at 119,520 miles this one sits 33% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
