Question 1

What do normal wear 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with normal wear damage, the median was $4,900, from $3,600 to $7,700. That is 21% above the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,700 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1955 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,200 to $5,700. At $7,700 this one went 90% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $19,957. It sold for $7,700 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 48,173 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 90,000 miles across 1955 sales, so at 48,173 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - ELGIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
