Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 57 recorded sales of the 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,425, from $3,350 to $5,800. That is 20% above the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WV - HURRICANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 159,796 miles high for a 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,882 miles across 1444 sales, so at 159,796 miles this one sits 70% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER has minor dent/scratches and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
