Question 1

What do rear 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with rear damage, the median was $3,350, from $3,100 to $4,125. That is 1% below the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

448 comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $3,400, spanning $3,050 to $4,600. At $3,350 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 73,534 miles high for a 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,900 miles across 448 sales, so at 73,534 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in SD - LENNOX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 1,300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER has rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
