Question 1

Was $5,175 a good price for this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1588 comparable 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,150 to $12,400. At $5,175 this one went 29% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WV - BUCKHANNON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 47,054 miles across 1588 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
