Question 1

What do hail 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER with hail damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,700. That is 18% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-active-alberta mean for this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER was sold on a ab-active-alberta. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 124,249 miles high for a 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER listings at auction averaged 93,779 miles across 452 sales, so at 124,249 miles this one sits 32% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
