Question 1

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

172 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $4,950. At $4,500 this one went 27% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 83,248 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 81,262 miles across 172 sales, so at 83,248 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS has right side and hail damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
