Question 1

What does a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 48,297 miles high for a 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 82,684 miles across 149 sales, so at 48,297 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in MANITOBA - WINNIPEG. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JA4AT4AAXJZ607993?

Accepted Answer

JA4AT4AAXJZ607993 identifies this specific 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS in white with a gas engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
