Question 1

What does a ab-active-alberta mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a ab-active-alberta. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 44,109 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 80,898 miles across 160 sales, so at 44,109 miles this one sits 45% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was listed at IAAI as lot 12404753 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
