Question 1

What do side 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS with side damage, the median was $6,750, from $4,600 to $10,800. That is 2% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,700 a good price for this 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

258 comparable 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,600 to $11,100. At $5,700 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS's pre-damage retail value at $17,317. It sold for $5,700 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

How far is this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - CENTRAL SQUARE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
