Question 1

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS has exterior burn and front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 13,525 miles high for a 2024 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 29,501 miles across 364 sales, so at 13,525 miles this one sits 54% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Did this 2024 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with exterior burn damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
