Question 1

What do rear end 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS with rear end damage, the median was $3,300, from $3,000 to $3,950. That is 6% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

150 comparable 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $4,700. At $3,950 this one went 13% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS's pre-damage retail value at $13,714. It sold for $3,950 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 41,388 miles high for a 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 83,046 miles across 150 sales, so at 41,388 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
