Question 1

Was $3,150 a good price for this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

160 comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings sold at auction for a median of $3,575, spanning $3,050 to $4,950. At $3,150 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - ACWORTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 46,851 miles high for a 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 80,898 miles across 160 sales, so at 46,851 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
