Question 1

Was $6,550 a good price for this 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

91 comparable 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,550, spanning $3,200 to $14,600. At $6,550 this one went 23% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - DALE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 84,998 miles high for a 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS listings at auction averaged 10,160 miles across 91 sales, so at 84,998 miles this one sits 737% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2026 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
