Question 1

What do front end 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE with front end damage, the median was $10,700, from $3,350 to $16,500. That is 16% below the $12,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

39 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $12,750, spanning $5,300 to $20,300. At $3,350 this one went 74% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CLAYTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 147,190 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 56,767 miles across 39 sales, so at 147,190 miles this one sits 159% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MERCEDES-BENZ SL-KLASSE has front end and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
