Question 1

What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 185 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE with front end damage, the median was $8,800, from $3,975 to $15,600. That is 7% below the $9,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - ASSONET. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 137,722 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 91,016 miles across 429 sales, so at 137,722 miles this one sits 51% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ S-KLASSE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WDDUG8FB8GA255493?

Accepted Answer
