Question 1

What do rear end 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS with rear end damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,450 to $7,500. That is 7% below the $5,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

90 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,600 to $12,150. At $6,700 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS's pre-damage retail value at $20,106. It sold for $6,700 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - WALTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 85,573 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings at auction averaged 98,045 miles across 90 sales, so at 85,573 miles this one sits 13% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
