Question 1

What does a salvage-british columbia mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS was sold on a salvage-british columbia. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 46,269 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings at auction averaged 97,376 miles across 89 sales, so at 46,269 miles this one sits 52% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6
