Question 1

What do front end 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 393 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,650 to $10,600. That is 10% below the $7,225 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,250 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

973 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $7,225, spanning $3,950 to $11,400. At $8,250 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 93,123 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 116,447 miles across 973 sales, so at 93,123 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - BAY POINT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS-KLASSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
