Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 150 recorded sales of the 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $28,800, from $17,900 to $53,500. That is 31% above the $21,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $35,000 a good price for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1217 comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $21,975, spanning $12,200 to $38,000. At $35,000 this one went 59% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 50,331 miles high for a 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 59,361 miles across 1217 sales, so at 50,331 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
