Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 33 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $7,050, from $5,200 to $12,600. That is 14% below the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $21,300 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1629 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,650 to $14,000. At $21,300 this one went 160% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NH - KINGSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has normal wear & tear and none damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 106,890 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 113,193 miles across 1629 sales, so at 106,890 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
