Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with water/flood damage, the median was $8,000, from $5,700 to $11,700. That is 13% below the $9,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,700 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1539 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,200, spanning $5,500 to $14,800. At $17,700 this one went 92% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - MERCEDES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 90,307 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 92,629 miles across 1539 sales, so at 90,307 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
