Question 1

What do side 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with side damage, the median was $12,300, from $7,600 to $22,100. That is 7% below the $13,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,900 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

301 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $13,250, spanning $6,700 to $26,700. At $16,900 this one went 28% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $33,603. It sold for $16,900 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS has side and rollover damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 11,099 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 79,007 miles across 301 sales, so at 11,099 miles this one sits 86% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
