Question 1

What do normal wear 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 43 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with normal wear damage, the median was $10,875, from $6,800 to $18,600. That is 28% above the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,200 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1517 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,600 to $14,100. At $12,200 this one went 44% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 127,118 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 101,553 miles across 1517 sales, so at 127,118 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
