Question 1

What do front end 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 242 recorded sales of the 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with front end damage, the median was $25,250, from $12,100 to $40,250. That is 4% below the $26,388 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $21,600 a good price for this 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

470 comparable 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $26,388, spanning $12,400 to $42,500. At $21,600 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 49,508 miles high for a 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 34,810 miles across 470 sales, so at 49,508 miles this one sits 42% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
