Question 1

Was $14,200 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

307 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $12,500, spanning $6,600 to $26,250. At $14,200 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 137,000 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 80,671 miles across 307 sales, so at 137,000 miles this one sits 70% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has hail and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
