Question 1

What do front end 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 518 recorded sales of the 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with front end damage, the median was $21,000, from $12,100 to $35,500. That is 4% below the $21,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $29,000 a good price for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1217 comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $21,975, spanning $12,200 to $38,000. At $29,000 this one went 32% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE's pre-damage retail value at $32,480. It sold for $29,000 — 11% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 63,648 miles high for a 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 59,361 miles across 1217 sales, so at 63,648 miles this one sits 7% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
