Question 1

What does a non-repairable mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - CARVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 66,146 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 75,030 miles across 1895 sales, so at 66,146 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with fresh water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was listed at IAAI as lot 46202282 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
