Question 1

What do front end 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 777 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with front end damage, the median was $8,400, from $5,150 to $13,400. That is 9% below the $9,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,150 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1536 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,200, spanning $5,500 to $14,800. At $13,150 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was listed at IAAI as lot 45693053 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
