Question 1

What do front end 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 790 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with front end damage, the median was $7,900, from $4,250 to $12,500. That is 7% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 134,200 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 108,015 miles across 1538 sales, so at 134,200 miles this one sits 24% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 4JGDA5HBXHA858613?

Accepted Answer

4JGDA5HBXHA858613 identifies this specific 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE in grey with a 3.5l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 302hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was listed at IAAI as lot 43674961 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
