What do water/flood 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with water/flood damage, the median was $6,900, from $4,050 to $14,400. That is 19% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

1522 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,600 to $14,100. At $8,900 this one went 5% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE's pre-damage retail value at $17,836. It sold for $8,900 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a salvage title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
