Question 1

What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 717 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with front end damage, the median was $7,600, from $4,100 to $12,200. That is 7% below the $8,188 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,900 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1655 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,188, spanning $4,650 to $13,700. At $6,900 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has front end and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 121,107 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 113,905 miles across 1655 sales, so at 121,107 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
