Question 1

What do right front 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 28 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with right front damage, the median was $6,800, from $5,025 to $9,525. That is 16% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1683 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,550 to $13,500. At $8,700 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has right front and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 185,405 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 114,086 miles across 1683 sales, so at 185,405 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with right front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
