Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with mechanical damage, the median was $8,000, from $5,500 to $13,500. That is 1% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - FINKSBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 139,456 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 114,086 miles across 1683 sales, so at 139,456 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
